Juvederm For Treating Wrinkles

Juvederm is long lasting gel-based skin filler which can be successfully utilised for face treatments such as the removal of wrinkles. Its application involves a series of localised and strategic injections using an ultra-fine needle to give a more balanced and natural result.

The natural properties of using Juvederm for treating wrinkles and signs of ageing means that any treated area will be subject to an immediate lift and volume. As its chemical properties are similar to that of the body’s own natural substances (Hyaluronic Acid), Juvederm has been proven to be a safe and effective dermal filler treatment with anti-ageing benefits.

¨The presence of Hyaluronic Acid in Juvederm can help to act as a supplement to augment the body´s age-depleted levels. This is highly effective in finer areas such as finer wrinkles in the face where a subtle degree of plumping is required. Juvederm can effectively raise the skin and fill-in areas of fine lines and wrinkles thanks to its natural, constituent properties.¨ - Wendy Dutta (Chief Aesthetic Nurse)

  • Juvederm does not require any prior sensitivity testing.
  • Being of non-animal origin, the molecules in Juvederm are highly biocompatible.
  • Juvederm is obtained by Biosynthesis.

By employing Juvederm as a skin filling facial treatment, areas such as wrinkles and signs of age as well as the smooth curves of the face can be softly and sensually restored to give an overall natural result with any minor imperfections and signs of ageing also being evenly softened. Juvederm is available in three different formulas. In aesthetic medicine, we harness the material properties of Juvederm 2 for treating wrinkles and signs of ageing.

Juvederm 2

Version two is used for the filling of fine lines and fine wrinkles. When injected into the superficial dermis, this fluid version fills fine wrinkles such as crow's feet and peri-oral wrinkles.

The effects of Juvederm can usually last around six to nine months; but this can vary depending upon the skin type, the area being treated, the volume of Juvederm being injected and the type of technique used for the procedure.

The results of this facial treatment for the remediation of wrinkles and signs of age can be optimised and the durability enhanced by undertaking a follow-up procedure a few weeks after the initial treatment. Your aesthetic professional will advise you about this on the day of your treatment.

The Aesthetic Beauty Centre operates with a fully qualified team of medical professionals; managed by Dr Ashish Dutta (Chief Surgeon) and Wendy Dutta (Chief Aesthetic Nurse) who will discuss the procedure during the initial consultation alongside the advantages, benefits and any side effects or aftercare that you may experience during your treatment.
