Juvederm – The Versatile And Durable Dermal Filler Gel
Juvederm is long lasting gel-based skin filler which can be successfully utilised for face treatments. Its application involves a series of localised and strategic injections using an ultra-fine needle to give a more balanced and natural result.
The natural properties of using Juvederm as a facial treatment means that any treated area will be subject to an immediate lift and volume. As its chemical properties are similar to that of the body’s own natural substances (Hyaluronic Acid), Juvederm has been proven to be a safe and effective dermal filler treatment with anti-ageing benefits.
¨The presence of Hyaluronic Acid in Juvederm can help to act as a supplement to augment the body´s age-depleted levels. This is highly effective in finer areas such as the lip area in which a subtle degree of plumping is required. Juvederm can effectively raise the skin and fill-in areas of fine lines and wrinkles thanks to its natural, constituent properties.¨ - Wendy Dutta (Chief Aesthetic Nurse)
- Juvederm does not require any prior sensitivity testing.
- Being of non-animal origin, the molecules in Juvederm are highly biocompatible.
- Juvederm is obtained by Biosynthesis.
By employing Juvederm as a skin filling facial treatment, areas such as lips and the smooth curves of the face can be softly and sensually restored to give an overall natural result with any minor imperfections and signs of ageing also being evenly softened. Juvederm is available in three different formulas:
Version two is used for the filling of fine lines and fine wrinkles. When injected into the superficial dermis, this fluid version fills fine wrinkles such as crow's feet and peri-oral wrinkles.
Version three is used for forehead wrinkles and the moderation of furrows. When injected into the middle dermis, this denser filler type effectively fills forehead wrinkles, glabellar lines and mild to moderate nasal furrows and cheek wrinkles.
Version 4 is used for the shaping of lips, deeper skin folds and cheeks augmentation and definition. When injected into the deep dermis, this densest version helps to fill the deeper naso-genian folds as well as returning volume to the lips and sculpting the cheeks to give a more natural oval shape to the face.
Is a version of Juvederm which is used for cheek and chin volumising. Due to its high cohesivity, Voluma is also used for jawline and mid face re-contouring.
