Which Facelift Is Right For You?
The term facelift is a very generic one so when patients are confronted with the range of facelift treatments and options it can all become a bit daunting.
The actual definition of the word ‘facelift’ is a cosmetic surgical operation to remove unwanted wrinkles by tightening of the skin of the face, but in reality it can be used to represent both surgical and non-surgical treatments. So how can you be sure which is the best option for you.
To help you decide we’ve created this quick guide to all the facelift treatments offered by Aesthetic Beauty Centre. This will give you the key points for each procedure but you can also book a free consultation where you can talk to one of our clinicians about your preferences and they’ll advise you for your final decision.
NON-SURGICAL TREATMENTS
Aptos Threading
With no scars, less bruising and a more natural look this non-surgical treatment involves a small treatment time of 20-30 minutes and prices range from £600 to £3,250 depending upon the number of sessions needed.
Fractora
Combining two to four technologies the Fractora technology can target a range of problems, with one to four, one hour sessions needed. Recovery for the treatment is 7-10 days with most of the time being spent out of the sun.
Price is decided upon consultation.
Fraxel laser
Targeting fine line wrinkles and smoothing your skin in the process, fraxel laser involves a small recovery time with you able to resume your daily activities immediately. Typically two-five sessions are needed.
Prices range from £175 to £650.
iGuide Trampoline Lift
This treatment offers a quick and effective option, with only a one off, one hour treatment needed and a recovery time of one week.
Prices for this treatment start from £2,750.
PPP/PRP
Designed to help heal and repair damaged skin, this treatment has a surgery time of 30 minutes and no recovery time associated.
Prices start from £300 per session.
Sculptra
This treatment smooths out fine lines and wrinkles, requires no recovery time, and results lasting up to 2 years. You will usually require two to three sessions.
Prices are based upon the number vials used, with one costing £350 and two £650.
Thermacell
Thermacell is designed to give you lifted, sculpted and rejuvenated skin with results lasting for up to two and half years. Six sessions lasting 15-40 minutes each are needed, with little to no recovery time associated.
Price is dependent upon the area treated.
Thermage
We are the only clinic in the North East to provide this treatment for sagging skin. There’s no incisions involved and results last for in between 24-36 months with the procedure time lasting 1 hour.
Prices are £1,800 for half face and £3,000 for full face.
FaceTite and NeckTite
Perhaps the most minimally invasive facelift surgery, it will tighten the skin in and around the face area. Recovery time is two weeks, with a neck compression garment worn for five of those days.
Prices start from £1,800.
SURGICAL TREATMENTS
FAMI
FAMI gives long lasting, symmetrical results. Surgery time is 2-3 hours and a recovery time of eight to twelve days will follow.
Price of the procedure will be decided upon consultation.
S-Lift
This treatment offers a less artificial look that will typically last for between three to six years. The surgery will last for between 60 to 90 minutes and the recovery time will be seven to ten days.
Prices start from £3,500.
Full face and neck lift
Commonly used to tighten and smooth your facial skin, making you look more youthful, radiant and relaxed. This surgical procedure last for between 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours and recovery time is typically 7 to 14 days.
Prices are between £5,000 & £7,000.
