Although pregnancy is a wonderful and special time, it can also be a period of much anxiety for parents. Due to the rapid advance of computer technology, 3D and 4D ultrasound can now bring you closer to your baby like never before, while at the same time helping to eradicate any concerns you may have.

The 3D baby scan offers detailed pictures of the baby in the womb, while a 4D baby scan adds a fourth dimension revealing a moving image of your unborn child. Many mothers find the processes very bonding and it has become extremely popular here in the north east.

Without 3D and 4D baby scan technology, it would be impossible to appreciate the full extent of your baby’s growth, to show formed lips, nose and face. Many parents have described the experience as ‘magical’.

Due to the detailed imaging of the 3D and 4D baby scan it’s possible you might spot the sex of your baby, (although the babies’ position can sometimes restrict the ability to determine the sex), so it’s always a good idea to mention first if you don’t wish to know.
