New-Fill ® is made from substances found naturally within the body. Because its components occur naturally within the body, it has the unique ability to stimulate the body's own production of collagen, and to continue the process of naturally restructuring the skin long after the course of treatment has been completed.
New-Fill ® is a polylactic acid that helps to stimulate the body's own natural production of collagen within the line or wrinkle, making the skin look smoother and firmer. Because it contains no animal products, no 'test patch' is required. Treatment may commence immediately after consultation.
Treatable Conditions
New-Fill ® is exceptionally effective in 'filling in' wrinkles and furrows. It makes the skin appear smoother and firmer, enabling it to regain its previous elasticity.
New-Fill ® can provide excellent results in treatment of all parts of the face including the forehead, around the eyes and lips, between the mouth and nose, and the cheeks.
New-Fill ®offers a new and absolutely innovative treatment for correction of wrinkles, scars, skin depressions and for improvement of cutaneous defects in general.
The Treatment
Using a very fine needle, similar in size to that used for acupuncture, New-Fill ® is injected into and around the line or wrinkle by the doctor. Initially the gel fills the line / wrinkle but this will disappear after a couple of days. Over a period of around 4 weeks following treatment, New-Fill ® begins to stimulate the production of new collagen so the skin regains its previous elasticity and smoothness. The polylactic acid is eventually absorbed by the body leaving your body's own new collagen to produce a long lasting result.
New-Fill ® is a synthetic substance that contains no animal proteins. It is therefore very unlikely to cause allergic reactions.
The duration of the treatment session will depend on the treatment area, as a guide, a typical session is usually around 15 - 20 minutes and around 2 - 6 treatments, over a period of around six months are required to achieve the desired effects. After treatment normal activity can be resumed immediately.
New-Fill ® achieves long-lasting results that enable all the desired areas to be treated step-by-step without the need to repeat the treatment in areas previously treated. Improvement is usually seen after 3 to 4 months and no further treatment should be required for approximately 18 to 24 months.
Pre treatment Preparation
Clients should avoid taking any medications containing aspirin for up to 48 hours before treatment not use any Retinol A based skin creams 4-5 days prior to treatment. If in doubt, please feel free to ask the doctor during the consultation.
