Is Dermalive Safe?
Dermalive consists of flexible particles of acrylic hydrogel and hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin.
If we told you that the acrylic hydrogel content in Dermalive has been used in over 200,000 intraocular implants and presents no danger to the eyes, one of the most sensitive areas of all, what else could there possibly be to say about the extremely high tolerance of this material?
How is Dermalive So Compatible?
The product is compatible with the skin, due to its high water content (26%), which is why it's called (HYDROGEL).The water molecules are actually trapped inside the acrylic hydrogel molecules. The water content helps produce remarkably flexible, elastic, resistant particles, which are gently absorbed into the tissues and which adapt to any imperfections in the dermis caused by the movement of the facial muscles.
Do Clients Require Any Prior Skin Tests?
At one time, most implants, often of animal origin, required tests in advance. What's more, new injections were needed, indefinitely, every three to six months.
With Dermalive, all those laborious tests are a thing of the past. It's now possible to make lines disappear faster than it takes to go to the hairdresser's. You can even have it done before you go to that all important function / special occasion.
Dermalive is the first long-life implant, with no risk allergy as it's of non animal origin and the product of biotechnological research.
How Many Sessions Are Required?
Dermalive provides clients with an Implant solution that lasts for years, one that doesn't require further injections every three to six months. That's where the real strength of Dermalive lies, providing reliable results for several years. This is an implant to stand the test of time.
Following each injection approximately 40% of Dermalive is retained indefinitely in the dermis. The hyaluronic acid disappears within a few weeks; this provides the acrylic hydrogel particles the necessary time to become evenly distributed throughout the dermis, exactly where they're needed and nowhere else. Two or three sessions are usually all that's required to give optimum, reliable results that last for several years.
How Does Dermalive Differ To Other Injectable Treatment Options?
DermaLiveŽ is a long-term wrinkle reduction product including two types of components: pure hyaluronic acid, produced in cell culture, and an acrylic hydrogel. The product was first marketed in France and the rest of Europe in 1998. Several studies have been conducted simultaneously, mainly in Germany and in France. At present, DermaLiveŽ is used in the long-term correction of natural or acquired skin depressions (caused by aging, trauma) or the creation of volume (lips, sunken cheekbones). It provides a worthwhile alternative to good-quality bioresorbable materials (pure hyaluronic acid or collagen) - materials that are so resorbable, in fact, that most patients are ultimately dissatisfied with the results - and to other so-called permanent materials that patients do not tolerate well.
Can Dermalive Be Used On The Lip Line?
Usually, due to the permanent nature of the available correction, it is better to use the temporary fillers like hyaluronic acid or Collagen for this area. Treatment with Dermalive is only recommended to clients that have previously had similar corrections.
