Bioinblue is a biodegradable dermal filler which has an immediate cosmetic effect, on the treatment of wrinkles, folds and grooves, as well as tissue augmentation.
Are there any risks/side effects?
Unlike some of the other products on the market, Bioinblue does not contain any animal proteins. It is composed of polyvinyl alcohol and water. Polyvinyl alcohol is a safe substance used in artificial tears products, as a drug carrier and even as a substitute for human plasma. Clinical and laboratory analysis show that Bioinblue is non-toxic, non-sensitising, non mutagenic, biocompatible and non-migratory.
Slight swelling may be noted for up to 24 hours after the treatment and mild flushing of the treated area may last for about 12 hours, before disappearing completely.

How long will the results last?
The treatment produces a smooth, tight skin, restoring a fresh, youthful appearance that lasts for many months. Maintenance is achieved by treatment repeated at longer intervals than those necessary for other fillers. The duration of the effect varies from person to person, but results can last between 12-18 months, before a further treatment is necessary if the effect is to be preserved.
